Brad Pagliaroli scored a 60th minute equaliser for Binfield as they secured a valuable point on Saturday at Hellenic Premier Division leaders Highworth Town.

The Moles trailed to a 21st minute strike by Callum McGhee-Parsons but Pagliaroli levelled with his eighth goal of the season past former Binfield goalkeeper Garry Aulsberry in the second half.

The defeat was big news for title challengers Thatcham Town who won 7-0 at Tuffley Rovers to narrow the gap to eight points while fellow challengers Bracknell Town had a League Cup game at Ardley United postponed.

Back in the Hellenic Premier Division Ascot United’s recent run of good form came to an end when they lost 1-0 at home to Royal Wootton Bassett Town while Windsor drew 0-0 with Wantage Town.

In Division 1 East Wokingham & Emmbrook beat Didcot Town Reserves 4-1 thanks to goals from Sam Lawrence, George Marsh, James Charlton and Elliott Rushforth with the Sumas up to fourth. Charlie Oakley hit a hat trick as Sandhurst Town beat Chalfont Wasps 5-1 with the other goals coming from Luke Burrows and Tom Cooper while AFC Aldermaston were beaten 1-0 at home to Bicester Town.
