Jon Bennett and TJ Bohane scored a brace each as Bracknell Town came from behind to beat Lydney Town 4-1 at Larges Lane on Saturday in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

Bennett, in for the unavailable Adam Cornell made the most of his opportunity with two second half goals after strike partner Bohane had levelled things up from the visitors 11th minute opener.

It was a tough day on the road for our clubs though as Woodley United went down 2-0 in Gloucestershire to Brimscombe & Thrupp while Ascot United suffered a 4-0 reverse at Wantage Town.

Windsor couldn’t translate their FA Vase form to league action and were hampered by the 40th minute sending off of Jack Denton after Paul Coyne’s 28th minute opener in a 3-1 defeat to Flackwell Heath.

In Division 1 East Charlie Oakley scored twice and Connor Harlowe got the other as Sandhurst Town beat champions Penn & Tylers Green 3-2 at Bottom Meadow while AFC Aldermaston took a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Didcot Town Reserves.

The biggest win of the day falls to Binfield who advanced to the quarter finals of the Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Challenge Cup with a 6-1 at Shrivenham. Brad Pagliaroli (pictured top) hit a hat trick and there was a brace for Ian Davies as well a goal on debut for youngster Eddie Lee.
