Congratulations to Raglan FC who, on Sunday, won the all-Bracknell Sunday League County Junior Cup clash with Loveman United by a score of 3-0 to progress through to the semi-final stage of this year’s competition. The draw for Raglans semi-final tie has yet to be made but will hopefully be announced during the next few days.

The two big guns of the Premier Division staked a distinct challenge for this season’s title. FC Fernhill beat 2nd placed FC Meta by a resounding 5-0 whilst Finchampstead Athletic beat Bracknell Cavaliers 3-0. That win for Finch moves them into 2nd place above Meta whilst Fernhill remain in 5th but close the gap on the leading pack. Crowthorne Inn stay top just one point clear of Finch whilst Fernhill have 3 games in hand over Inn but trail by 9 points.

With none of the top 3 in Division 1 playing league games on Sunday, 4th placed AFC Crowthorne lost the opportunity to close on the leaders going down 1-4 to Winkfield whilst Finchampstead Athletic Reserves continued their fine run of form with a resounding 6-1 victory against Ashridge Park. WAB remain 16 points clear at the top and will be long odds-on favourites now to lift the title.

There’s no change at the top of Division 2 with the top 3 all winning:
Woodley United (top) 4 v. 3M 2
Warfield United (2nd) 3 v. Braybrooke Wanderers 0
Newbold College 1 v. Athletico Ascot 4 (3rd)
Berks County stay 4th.
Woodley’s lead at the top is just one point over 2nd placed Warfield, but have played one more game.

Bracknell Corinthians suffered a blow to their challenge for the Division 3 title suffering defeat at the hands of Winnersh Rangers by 0-2. Bearwood Wanderers beat Bracknell Falcons 5-1 whilst in the other game played WAB Reserves beat Winnersh Town 2-0. These results mean WAB moved level on points with top team Woodley Saints, whose game was postponed, but Saints have a far superior goal difference than WAB and have played two games less. Bearwood moved into 3rd place but trail to top 2 by 5 points.

There’s no change at the top of Division 4 with all 4 teams winning. Finchampstead Athletic A stay top after beating Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves 2-0, 2nd placed Bracknell Royals beat Bracknell Titans 2-1, 3rd placed Silver Birch A beat bottom team Whitegrove Panthers 2-0 whilst 4th placed Crownwood Dukes thumped FC Harmanswater 7-2.
