Today’s fixtures have provided us with some cracking headlines. Congratulations first to Raglan who have today won through to the Final of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup Final. Congratulations also go to Woodley Saints, through to the final of the Bracknell Sunday League Junior Cup.

Raglan are County Cup Finalists

Raglan won their semi-final of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup today by beating Reading-based Pangbourne & Basildon Barbarians 2-0. Raglan wait to find out who their opponents will be from the other semi-final between A J Victoria and Richfield Rovers at a venue and on a date also to be confirmed.

Woodley Saints through to the League Junior Cup Final

Top of Division 3 Saints beat Newbold College of Division 2 today in a thriller, winning 4-3. Saints will now play Bearwood Wanderers in the final at Bracknell Towns Larges Lane later in the season.

Finchampstead and Crowthorne Inn share the points – Inn stay top of the Premier Division

In today’s clash at the top of the Premier Division Finchampstead and Crowthorne Inn drew 3-3 that means Inn stay top, 4 points clear of Finch, though Finch have a game in hand. Elsewhere, FC Fernhill continued their charge up the table by crushing bottom team Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW 11-1.

Golden Farmer Rangers earned themselves a place in the League Senior Cup semi-final by beating Bracknell Cavaliers 2-1. The semi-final line-up will see Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW play FC Fernhill and Golden Farmer Rangers will play FC Meta (dates to be confirmed).

The only game to be played in Division 1 saw Berkshire All Stars beat Loveman United by 1-0. That defeat for Loveman all but denies any further shot at the title barring any major slip-up’s by the top 2. WAB, who’s fixture with Finchampstread Athletic Reserves was postponed, stay top by 12 points, clear of Raglan who have 5 games in hand.

Woodley United Regain Top Spot in Division 2

In a topsy-turvy fight at the top of Division 2, Woodley United again displaced Warfield United from top spot following their 4-0 win away against Ashridge Park Royals. Warfield’s game against Bracknell Athletic was postponed. Woodley are 2 points clear of Warfield who have 2 games in hand.

In Division 3 Bracknell Corinthians moved to within 5 points of top team Woodley Saints with a resounding 9-2 win against Hope & Anchor. Not to be outdone by that high scoring game, Silver Birch crushed Bracknell Falcons 12-0.

Finchampstead Athletic A go top of Division 3

With only 3 games remaining after today, Finchampstead Athletic A moved to the top of Division 3 by beating Bracknell Titans 7-1, displacing Bracknell Royals who didn’t play. Silver Birch A did their own title credentials no harm with a 4-2 win against Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves. Birch, who have 5 to play (2 games in hand over Finch and Royals), trail the leaders by 6 points.
