Monday nights B3018 derby was settled by a solitary strike to give Bracknell Town the three points at Hellenic League Premier Division neighbours Binfield.

At half time the tie was delicately poised at 0-0 at but a moment of magic from the tireless Kensley Maloney settled it four minutes after the break, deftly chipping Moles goalkeeper Henry Craven.

It’s not the first time Maloney has had the the final word in a Robins v Moles derby, netting an injury time winner during last seasons league encounter at the newly reopened Larges Lane.

Watch the Maloney goal captured by @moledriver – he also caught a few decent chances by the Moles on his twitter page here.

Elsewhere Woodley United finally got a game on at Scours Lane and were held by Windsor in a high scoring 4-4 draw.

The Kestrels fought back from 2-0 down and Greg Beckett netted a hat trick as they led 4-2 with 20 to go, only for Windsor to launch a fight back of their own.

FA Vase finalists Thatcham Town made 11 changes to their starting line up for Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Cup tie with Didcot Town Reserves.

And it was quite a night with 13 goals scored and the Kingfishers winning 8-5 on a night when there were recalls for ‘veterans’ Yashwa Romeo and Mark Hughes – sadly no Keith Pennicott-Bowen though!
