Bracknell Town are two wins from promotion to the Southern League after a good 4-0 win at home to Brackley Town Saints in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division on Tuesday night.
The Robins will join Thatcham Town in the Southern League next season as long as they win two of their remaining four league games against Windsor, Woodley United, Lydney Town and Tuffley Rovers.
It wasn’t completely straightforward for Bracknell on Tuesday night, Kensley Maloney scored on seven minutes but the game wasn’t safe until TJ Bohane doubled the score on the hour and wingers Joe Grant and Seb Bowerman added the icing to the cake with two terrific finishes.
Windsor are still fighting it out for eighth place but did themselves no harm with a 3-1 win at home to Flackwell Heath while Woodley were knocked out of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup at the semi final stage following a 2-0 defeat at home to Southern League side Chesham United.
