The Bracknell Town & District Sunday League season is almost over for 2017/18 with Silver Birch A the latest side to be confirmed as Division champions.

Our Sunday League correspondent Tony Hardy takes us through the final rounds and has confirmed all the cup final dates here.

Premier Division

FC Fernhill won the big top of the table clash with Crowthorne Inn by 5-0 to move to within a point of the league leaders. Having a far superior goal difference than both Crowthorne Inn and 3rd placed Finchamptsead Athletic (who have 1 to play and trail Fernhill by 3 points), a point from their remaining two games (they next play Bracknell Cavaliers on Tuesday evening) will confirm Fernhill as Premier Division champions.

Division 1

Champions Raglan finished their Division 1 campaign with a 3-3 draw with AFC Crowthorne and finish the season unbeaten. Second placed WAB underlined a fine season with a 4-2 win against Sandhurst FFC whilst 3rd placed Loveman United’s game with Berks All Stars resulted in a walkover win for them.

Division 2

The race for the Division 2 title remains finely balanced and now between the top two of Woodley United and Warfield United following Athletico Ascot’s 0-4 defeat to Berks County. The top two drew 2-2 and Woodley stay top by 2 points clear of Warfield in 2nd.

Warfield face a tough challenge on Tuesday night as they play an in-form Berks County knowing that a win will move them back to the top. Woodley play their last game next Sunday against 3M.

Division 3

Bracknell Corinthians ended their Division 3 season on top of the league and 3 points clear of Woodley Saints with a 3-0 win against WAB Reserves. Saints will now know that a win against Hope & Anchor on Tuesday evening will give them the title (Saints have a better goal difference of 1). Elsewhere, Silver Birch underlined their 3rd place finish with an emphatic 7-1 win against Winnersh Town

Division 4

Congratulations to Silver Birch A who clinched the Division 4 title with an emphatic 6-1 win against Crownwood Dukes. Finchampstead Athletic A were awarded a walkover win against Bracknell Titans but Birch finished 2 points clear of Finch with Bracknell Royals 3rd and Crownwood Dukes 4th.
