Sandhurst Town travelled to the impressive Kingfield Stadium to take on Sheerwater in the Combined Counties Division One. Despite having the better of the opening exchanges, the Fizzers found themselves a goal down on 7 minutes.

Sandhurst were soon level through a solo run and finish from Luke Burrows. Despite the game being end to end, neither side were able to add to the score and the Fizzers will be the less happy of the two sides with the result as they created some good chances.

Eversley & California hosted British Airways, looking to build on their victory in the FA Vase last weekend. The Boars took the lead in the first half when Cameron Miller slotted home from close range.

The second half did not go according to plan for the home side as they gave away an early equaliser and then found themselves behind after Airways converted from the spot. With the Boars pushing to level the score, the visitors were able to grab a third against the run of play leaving the final score 1-3.

Wokingham & Emmbrook travelled to Oxfordshire to face the league leaders Abingdon Town at Culham Road. The Abbotts started well and took a two-goal lead inside 20 minutes, but Jake White grabbed a goal back after some good build up play from George Marsh and Sam Lawrence.

Felix Davies made several good saves to keep the Sumas in the game, but he was unable to prevent the hosts scoring two more goals before the break, in a half that also saw Wokingham miss a penalty. In the second half the Sumas were more compact but eventually Abingdon were able to add another two goals to leave the final score 6-1.

Woodley also had a tough afternoon in league action when they welcomed Milton United to the Rivermoor. The Kestrels were behind after 2 minutes, and despite putting together some nice passages of play, they conceded another midway through the first half.

In the second half the visitors converted from a free kick with 70 minutes gone and then added two late goals to make the final score 0-5.

Holyport made the trip to Amersham to face Penn & Tylers Green in what was a keenly contested game. Penn took the lead towards the end of the first half and then doubled their advantage late in the game.

There was still time for the Villagers to grab a goal back as Sam Whitfield powered a header home, but that was as close as they came with the game finishing 2-1.

Away from league action, Wallingford Town travelled to face Faringdon Town in the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy. Faringdon play their football in the Hellenic League Division Two West but despite being from a lower level they took the lead when pressure from a corner resulted in a Wally player turning the ball into his own net.

In the second half Wallingford upped their game, but it took until the 79th minute for them to equalise, when a smart run from James Spruyt got him into the box and he slotted in at the near post. With the game locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes the game went straight to a penalty shoot-out that Wallingford eventually won 6-5 to make it through to the second round.

Aldermaston were supposed to have a home league game against Bicester Town, but the game was called off as the visitors could not raise a side
