A round up of the scores and scorers from Saturday's fixtures

Binfield back in the groove and Windsor win at Reading City

Binfield made it three wins in a row on Saturday as a Sean Moore brace and a 14th minute effort from Liam Gavin gave the Moles a 3-0 Hellenic League Premier Division win.

Roger Herridge’s side have won their last two league fixtures, either side of a cup win at Thornbury Town and now have three fixtures in 10 days against, two of those against teams in the division’s top four.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s win to the Wokingham Paper, Herridge said the forthcoming spell was pivotal in terms of where the Moles wanted to finish this season.

Elsewhere, the top of the table clash between Ascot United and Brackley Town Saints ended in a 1-1 draw at the Racecourse Ground. Harry Laflin gave the home side a 10th minute lead only for Alex Stott to level in the second half.

Windsor got back to winning ways in the league after a spell that saw one point gained in four matches with a 3-0 win at Reading City. Andrew Ingram, Dan Roberts and a Eddie Lazarczuk own goal gave Mick Woodham’s side the points.

Robert Davies will round up the Hellenic League Division 1 East and step 6 results this week, but there were wins for Wokingham & Emmbrook, Holyport and Woodley United, the latter earning their first of the season thanks to goals from Leon Mannion and Pablo Fernandez.

In the FA Trophy, Bracknell Town were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Bostik League Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town after the visitors scored a 92nd minute equaliser.

Bracknell had twice taken the lead through Liam Ferdinand and Jamie McClurg but were twice pegged back by the Rocks and will replay on Tuesday night. The knock on effect being the postponement of the eagerly awaited County Cup tie with Reading FC.
