A goal in either half gave Bracknell Town victory as they returned to Bostik League South Central Division 1 action on Saturday.
Ash Artwell scored before the break while substitute Gavin James made things safe in the 90th minute in a 2-0 win against a resilient Hertford Town side.
There were two 3-3 draws in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division as Binfield were held at Brimscombe & Thrupp, likewise Virginia Water at Bishops Cleeve.
Jemel Johnson scored twice for Binfield after Sean Moore got the scoring underway. The home sides equaliser was a bit of a sucker punch, coming in the 88th minute but Moles boss Roger Herridge was more concerned for winger Khalid Senussi who was stretchered off on the half hour.
Herridge tweeted: “Proud of my side today, great response after Wednesday nights disappointment. Felt we deserved all three points but pleased to take something away from a visit to a very good side . Hoping Khalid Senussi’s injury isn’t as bad as it looked.”

The match officials earned the wrath of Ascot United’s management team as the 10-man Yellamen were held to a 2-2 draw at Tuffley Rovers.
Callum Carlisle was sent off for United who saw goals from captain Louis Bouwers and striker Nathan Minhas.
First team head coach Aaron Steadman tweeted: “So difficult to put into words how poor the officials were again today. Hate to play the victim but its absolutely shocking. Boys deserved to win today playing another hour with 10 men, deserve huge huge credit keeping their heads and dominating.”
