FC Fernhill win to stay top of Bracknell Sunday League Premier Division

FC Fernhill won the big game of the day defeating Finchampstead Athletic 8-3 to stay top of the Premier Division. Crowthorne Inn stayed in touch in 2nd, level on points with Fernhill, following their 6-0 win on the road at Panthers.

Raglan displaced Morale Madrid in 3rd after their 4-1 defeat of Morale. In he other games FC Meta and Athletico Forest shared the points after a 2-2 draw and WAB beat Golden Farmer Rangers 4-1 through goals by Ryan McManus, Luke Hanley, Alex Badshah and Sam Wilson. Panthers, formed for the start of this season, have really struggled to find their feet in the Division, and remain rooted to the bottom.

In Division 1 the fixture between the top two of Wokingham & Emmbrook and AFC Crowthorne Stiffs finished all-square at 1-1. Loveman took full advantage to move back into 2nd place with a 4-0 away win at Winkfield. W&E stay top by two points though Loveman have 2 games in hand. The other Divisions games finished 1-1 between Bracknell Athletic and Woodley United whilst Crowthorne FC beat Athletico Ascot 4-2.

Sandhurst FFC remain top of Division 2 following their 5-2 defeat of Ashridge Park. The games top game between Woodley Saints, undefeated in all competition before the games, and Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves finished 2-0 to Farmer, both goals scored by Jim Hardy. Sandhurst’s lead at the top stays at 4 points from Moor Close Manor who beat Winnersh Rangers 2-1. Golden Farmer remain 3rd.

Bearwood Wanderers stretched their lead at the top of Division 3 to 9 points with a 2-1 win against Bracknell Royals. Their closest challengers Bracknell Cavaliers and Braybrooke Wanderers battled out a 3-3 draw. Elsewhere Running Horse continued their good season with a 3-2 away win against Hope & Anchor and stay 4th though feel the breath of Finchampstead Athletic A on their necks after Finch’s third team beat Bracknell Saint Germain 2-1.

Crownwood Dukes maintained their 5 point lead at the top of Division 4 following their 4-0 win at Bracknell Athletic Reserves. Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves moved into 3rd position after defeating basement team Bracknell Titans 6-1.
