Berks & Bucks under 16s held at Gloucestershire

Ascot United and Bracknell Town were well represented on Sunday when the Berks & Bucks County FA under 16s headed west for a South & West Counties League game against Gloucestershire.

The side, led by Aaron Steadman included players from both clubs as well as Windsor, Uxbridge and Aylesbury among others.

The match at the Gloucestershire FA’s Oaklands Park Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

Raf Lobato, reporting back to Football in Bracknell from the game said: “It was a very even first half and. Berks & Bucks went 1-0 up a little against the run of play but then went on to have their best period of the game.

“Gloucestershire started to pile on the pressure though and finally get the equaliser but B&B held on, finishing 1-1.”
