Huge congratulations to Loveman United who today won through to the Final of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup. Goals from Ben Poynter (2), Billy Bryce, Sam Holloway, Ryan Millward and Alfie Sparrow secured them a 6-2 win over High Wycombe based AFC Liberal.

Loveman’s opponents in the final will be Three Horseshoes, also of High Wycombe, on a date and at a venue to be announced by the County FA.

Winnersh Town bowed out of the Berks & Bucks Junior Trophy at the quarter final stage, narrowly beaten 1-2 by Jolly Sportsman. That leaves two Bracknell Sunday League teams to carry the fight to the semi-final stage as Woodley Saints will play Jolly Sportsman and Bearwood Wanderers will play South Reading next Sunday (24th February).

Winnersh Town bowed out of the Berks & Bucks Junior Trophy at the quarter final stage, narrowly beaten 1-2 by Jolly Sportsman. FC Fernhill strengthened their position at the top of the Premier Division with a 6-1 away win at Golden Farmer Rangers. Crowthorne Inn stay 2nd after beating Panthers 5-0 whilst Finchampstead Athletic stay 3rd following their 3-0 win against FC Meta. Fernhill’s lead is now 4 points. Elsewhere, Athletico Forest beat Raglan 2-1 and an in-form WAB beat Morale Madrid by the same scoreline.

With Loveman United in cup action, Finchampstead Athletic Reserves stay top of Division 1 after beating Athletico Ascot 3-1 whilst AFC Crowthorne Stiffs moved menacingly into 2nd place after a 3-0 win against Panthers Reserves. Competition for the title will ramp up over the coming weeks with a mere 7 points separating the top 5.

Sandhurst FFC moved to the stage where a point from their remaining 2 fixtures will see them lift the Division 2 title. Their lead at the top is now a massive 14 points following their 3-1 win away to Winnersh Rangers. Moore Close Manor in 2nd place shared the points with Woodley Saints following their 1-1 draw. Silver Birch Dynamoes picked up all 3 points without kicking a ball as their opponents Bracknell Corinthians were unable to field a team. That “win” keeps Birch in with a slim chance of catching Sandhurst at the top.

Division 3 leaders Bracknell Cavaliers stay top following their 4-0 win against Hope & Anchor whilst Bearwood Wanderers moved into 2nd place after beating Silver Birch A by 4-2. Cavaliers lead is now 3 points though Bearwood have a game in hand.

Crownwood Dukes did their chances of lifting the Division 4 title a massive boost with an emphatic 11-0 win against strugglers Bracknell Titans. Second placed FC Harmanswater, with only one game to play, stayed in contention following their 7-0 win away at AFC Crowthorne Old Boys.
