FC Fernhill reach Bracknell Sunday League Cup final, Crownwood Dukes win Division 4

Congratulations to holders FC Fernhill who are the first team through to the final of this year’s Advantage Printroom Bracknell Sunday League Cup after defeating Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW in Sunday’s semi-final.

Fernhill will play the winners of the other semi-final to be played next week between Finchampstead Athletic and Athletico Forest.

WAB finished their first Premier Division campaign strongly with a 3-0 win against Raglan. WAB’s goal scorers were Ollie Noyes (2) and George Lock.

Elsewhere Morale Madrid beat FC Meta 5-0 through goals by Kennie Chamberlain (2), Sam Delander, Jamie Osborn and man of the match Tyler Hudson. Fernhill remain top by 4 points clear of Crowthorne Inn, who had a walkover win against Golden Farmer Rangers. WAB occupy 3rd but have now completed all their fixtures.

Berks County won the big Division 1 fixture of the day, beating Loveman United 3-1. Finchampstead Athletic beat bottom team Panthers Reserves 6-1 whilst Bracknell Athletic and Athletico Ascot shared the spoils following their 3-3- draw.

An adjusted league table (following Crowthorne FC’s withdrawal from the League) shows Finch top by 1 point from 2nd placed AFC Crowthorne Stiffs and 2 points clear of 3rd placed Loveman. Berks County occupy 4th from Wokingham & Emmbrook in 5th. In a hugely competitive division a mere 4 points separates the top 5. All to play for in the coming weeks!

Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves moved into 2nd in Division 2 following a 5-4 win away to 3M. Moore Close Manor, in 2nd at the start of the day, slipped up losing 0-1 to Silver Birch Dynamoes who will look to challenge Farmer for runners-up spot behind Champions Sandhurst FFC.

Braybrooke Athletic moved to the top of Division 3 winning the days big fixture by 4-1 against Bracknell Cavaliers, who topped the table at the start of the day. Athletics goal scorers were Neil Blewett (3) and Ewan Joyce. Bearwood Wanderers moved into 2nd after beating Winnersh Town 3-2. Athletics lead is 2 points though Bearwood have a game in hand. Cavaliers slipped to 3rd place, likewise 2 points behind Braybrooke.

Congratulations to Crownwood Dukes after they sealed the Division 4 title with a 4-2 win away at Bracknell Athletic Reserves. The battle for the runners-up spot will be contested over the next few weeks between 2nd placed FC Harmanswater, 3rd placed Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves (who beat Bracknell Titans today by 6-2) and Bracknell Athletic Reserves.

FC Harmanswater won the days first round tie in the Subsidiary Cup by 5-2 against Hope & Anchor.
