Hungerford Town drew 0-0 at bottom of the league side Weston-Super-Mare where goal scoring chances were few and far between. Callum Willmoth was handed a starting role, his first for 18 months following an ACL injury sustained verses Billericay Town.

Alfy Whittingham had a late effort saved by the Weston ‘keeper in a game where both teams were desperate for a win to enhance their battle against relegation from the National League South.

Although Hungerford will feel like it’s a missed opportunity the point gained has closed the gap on Gloucester City, the team just outside the drop zone, to 3 points following their defeat at Dartford.

Thatcham Town couldn’t build on last weeks impressive performance at Melksham as they went down 2–1 at home to Bideford.

A controversial late penalty from Billy Turner making the difference in a game where Curtis Angell was sent off for Thatcham.

Kyle Tooze continued his rich vain of form with another goal to get the home side on level terms after Ryan Turner had put Bideford ahead.

Highly rated Calum Ward, who joined on loan from AFC Bournemouth made his debut in goal following the departure of Chris Rackley. Home form has been a disappointment for Thatcham this season, The Kingfishers have won more games on the road than they have at Waterside Park.

Newbury where left without a game as FC Imaans Lions couldn’t raise a side.
