Congratulations to Sandhurst FFC who won through to the Final of the League Junior Cup today with a 7-1 win against Winnersh Rangers. Sandhurst will face Woodley Saints in the Final to be played at Larges Lane, Bracknell Town FC on Friday 17th May (ko 8pm).

Morale Madrid caused a minor upset in the Premier Division, inflicting a first defeat of the season on Champions FC Fernhill by 4-2.

Finchampstead Athletic Reserves moved back to the top of Division 1 with a 3-2 win against AFC Crowthorne Stiffs, who lead the table at the start of the day. Berks County stay 3rd following hair 6-1 demolition of Woodley United whilst Loveman United stay 4th after beating Winkfield 3-2.

Finch’s lead at the top is 3 points though have now played all their fixtures. Stiffs, Berks County and Loveman, all on 30 points, have 3 games each to play.

Silver Birch Dynamoes moved into 2nd position in Division 2 with a 5-1 win against Ashridge Park and give themselves a great chance of finishing runners-up to Champions Sandhurst FFC but will need to win their final game next week at home to 3M.

Bearwood Wanderers moved to within a point of winning the Division 3 Championship after beating Silver Birch A 3-1 but will have to wait until 28th April to play their final game (against Bracknell Saint Germain).

Between then 3rd placed Bracknell Cavaliers will play twice and will need to win both and reverse an eight goal difference to stand a chance of pipping Wanderers to the title. Braybrooke Athletic finished their league campaign with a 1-1 draw with BSG and look likeliest to finish 3rd though will probably finish the season as the League’s top goal scorers with 77.

In Division 4 Bracknell Athletic Reserves thumped AFC Crowthorne Old Boys 6-0 whilst Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves beat Silver Birch 3-2.

There were wins in the Subsidiary Cup today for FC Harmanswater who beat Bracknell Corinthians in a 2nd round tie whilst Crownwood Dukes beat Bracknell Titans 7-1 in their 1st round tie.

Games to look out for next weekend:

Both Loveman United (home v Panthers Reserves) and Berks County (away v Athletico Ascot) are in action where a win for either could would see them take top spot in Division 1.

The stand-out game in Division 2 sees Moore Close Manor host cup-finalists Woodley Saints. Saints will look to keep their hopes of finishing runners-up alive whist a win for Moore Close, playing their final game of the season, will underline what has been a decent season for them.

Bracknell Titans play their final league fixture in the season in Division 4 and will be keen not to finish with a zero points count. They visit Bracknell Athletic Reserves.

One more tie in the Subsidiary Cup sees AFC Crowthorne Old Boys of Division 4 take on Bracknell Royals of Division 3.
