Both FC Meta and Raglan completed their Premier Division fixtures that finished in a 1-0 for Raglan. That win keeps them in 3rd position.

It’s all change at the top of Division 1 in what is proving to be a roller coaster of a title run-in. Berks County moved top following their 3-2 win away to Atletico Ascot whilst Loveman United moved into 2nd placed but were made to work hard for their 3-1 win against Panthers Reserves. Loveman’s goals were scored by keeper Louie Steinborn-Busse, returning to the side after injury, with a free-kick from his own half, and Billy Bryce (2). The other game played in the division resulted in a 6-1 for Winkfield against Woodley United.

Woodley Saints beat Moore Close Manor 3-2 in Division 2. Two wins from their remaining 4 games will secure a runners-up spot for Saints behind Champions Sandhurst FFC.

None of the top 3 played in Division 3 though there were wins for Finchampstead Athletic A (4-0 v Running Horse) whilst both other games played finished in 1-1 draws involving Hope & Anchor, Winnersh Town, Silver Birch A and Bracknell Saint Germain.

Division 4’s fixture programme was completed with an emphatic 11-0 victory for Bracknell Athletic Reserves over Bracknell Titans. The win for Athletic secured them a 3rd place finish.

AFC Crowthorne Old Boys of Division 4 caused an upset by beating Bracknell Royals of Division 3 by 5-2 to set up a mouth-watering quarter final tie with Division 4 Champions Crownwood Dukes.

And next week…….

Next week’s games see the top 3 in Division 1 all play as competition for the title is set to reach molten point. Leaders Berks County, who have now won their last 8 league games in a sequence that started at the turn of the year, travel to play Bracknell Athletic. Loveman United, in 2nd, play Woodley United away whilst 3rd placed AFC Crowthorne Stiffs, with a game in hand over the other two but trail by 3-points, face a tough looking fixture away to Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW who, with a good run in themselves could have a say in how the title is decided.

In Division 2 Woodley Saints will move themselves to within a win of clinching runners-up spot if they were to beat Bracknell Corinthians away. Elsewhere, in Division 3, Bracknell Cavaliers will need to beat Winnersh Town to keep their hopes of lifting the title alive. Anything less than a win and the title will be Bearwood Wanderers’.

There’s one more 1st round tie in the Subsidiary Cup as Running Horse (Division 3) entertain Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves of Division 4.

FC Fernhill look to reach the final of the Aldershot Cup in successive seasons as they travel to play Waterloo in their semi-final tie.
