A total of 130 goals were scored across the 20 fixtures played on the opening day of the new Bracknell Sunday League 2019/20 season. Top scorers were Bracknell Royals in Division 4 with 12.
FC Fernhill laid down a marker as they look to retain their Premier Division title with a 7-2 away win at Morale Madrid. Elsewhere, Bracknell Rangers picked up where they left off at the end of last season with a 5-1 home victory against Panthers. Rangers goal-scorers were Ryan Martin (3), Ryan McManus and Lenny Musgrove. Crowthorne Inn edged the other game played in the Division with a 2-1 win against promoted Loveman United.

In Division 1 Woodley Saints look set to continue their excellence progress in the two seasons they’ve competed in the League, opening with a 6-1 win away at Bracknell Athletic. Elsewhere, there were wins for Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW, netting 7 against Athletico Forest who replied with 3, Sandhurst FFC and Athletico Ascot, 2-1 against Crowthorne FC, Andre Jardim netting for the Crows.

Division 2 saw promoted Bearwood Wanderers net 8 times at panthers whilst Newbold edged out Bracknell Cavaliers by a goal to nil. Winnersh Rangers got their season off to a winning start, 2-1 away at Ashridge Park Royals.
In Division 3 promoted AFC Dukes set out their intentions with a 4-1 win at home to Running Horse. There were also wins for Winnersh Town, Bracknell Saint Germain, Crowthorne A and Silver Birch.
Bracknell Royals installed themselves as early favourites for the Division 4 title with a 12-0 thumping of Bracknell Athletic U21’s. There were also wins for Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves as well as newcomers to the League FC Showcase, Bracknell Spartans U21’s and Harts of Bracknell.
