Finch finally got their season underway with a resounding 3-0 win at Wraysbury’s temporary evening venue at Bedfont & Feltham FC. Joel Day, Alex Woodhead and James Payne with the goals for the away side.

Burghfield 2 Woodley United Royals 1

It wasn’t a straightforward evening for the home side who were 1-0 down at half-time but goals from Ross Baker and Ricky Ward saw Burghfield win the game 2-1 and secure their first win of the season.

Mortimer 2 Cookham Dean 4

Braces from Nathan Lishman and Joe Newman saw Cookham Dean secure their first victory of the Thames Valley Premier League season. Mortimer are still winless after three games.

Westwood Wanderers 1 Richings Park 1

It ended all square at the Theale Recreation Ground. Richings Park goal was scored by Karl Haggen. Richings Park have now drawn their opening two fixtures while Westwood Wanderers lie in sixth place.

Woodcote 0 Reading City U23 3

Reading City U23 secured their first win of the season with a comprehensive victory at Woodcote. An own goal and a brace from Kris Tuffour earned the points in a chilly South Oxfordshire.
