Seven Thames Valley Premier League fixtures took place on Saturday afternoon. A remarkable five of the seven ended in 3-2 victories!

Berks County 3 Burghfield 1

Berks County secured their first win of the season at home to Burghfield with a brace from Will Kyeremeh and a Matt Nower strike.

Cookham Dean 2 Finchampstead 3

Finch made it two wins out of two in the league at Cookham Dean this afternoon. Richard Johnson scored a brace and Liam Yelland with the goals for Finchampstead.

Maidenhead Town 3 Woodcote 2

Town remain top of the table after a 3-2 victory over Woodcote at Bisham Abbey. Lewis Critcher with two and Mitchell Burley with one were the matchwinners for Maidenhead Town.

Newbury 3 Richings Park 2

Newbury kept up their 100% record with a 3-2 home victory over Richings Park.

Goalscorers for Newbury FC were Dan Donegan with an early penalty, Carl Jenner and Jamie Piercy who scored the winner with ten minutes remaining.

Reading City U23 3 Mortimer 2

An 80th minute Drammeh Kabba winner saw Reading City U23 take all three points against 10 man Mortimer.

The away side took the lead in the 11th minute, but Reading City hit back three minutes later when a Tyrese Weeks cross was knocked in by Jehmeil McNeil.

Mortimer retook the lead in the 24th, but again Reading City hit back just before half-time through Tyrone Weeks.

Mortimer were reduced to ten men halfway through the second half and Reading City eventually made the breakthrough when Kabba scored in the 80th minute.

Westwood Wanderers 2 Wraysbury Village 1

Westwood Wanderers took all three points at home against Wraysbury with a 2-1 home victory at Theale with goals from Jack and Alex Sergent.

Windlesham United 2 Woodley United Royals 3

Royals secured their first away victory of the season this afternoon with a 3-2 win at Windlesham.
