Binfield made it through a tricky Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup Preliminary Round tie on Monday night with Burnham at Hill Farm Lane.

The Moles had to wait until second half injury time for a leveller from from Jemel Johnson after Burnham had opened the scoring on 51 minutes.

If substitute Johnson was the normal time here, it was goalkeeper Joe Williams who won the plaudits in the penalty shoot out, making four saves as Binfield won 2-1.

There was plenty of post match reaction on social media with Slough Town boss Neil Baker singling out midfielder Jamie McClurg.

Meanwhile Binfield centre back Idris Kamara posted about his side holding their nerve.

Across in West Reading, Woodley United earned their own passage in the Banbury Litho Floodlit Cup. The Kestrels beat AFC Aldermaston 1-0 courtesy of a 24th minute Harry Swabey goal.

It is the second meeting already between the two sides this season following a 1-1 Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East draw at the Rec Soc.

There are plenty more fixtures across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. We have posted the complete list here.
