Woodley Saints move further clear at the top of Bracknell Sunday League Division 1

Congratulations to 3M, Bracknell Spartans U21’s, Bracknell Royals, Hope & Anchor, Finchampstead Athletic A, Harts of Bracknell and FC Showcase who all won their County Junior Trophy 1st round ties today and join Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves and Ashbridge, drawn byes in the first round, in the hat for the second round Berks & Bucks County Cup draw.

Crowthorne Inn consolidated their position at the top of the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Premier Division following their 3-1 win away at Morale Madrid. Close on their heels in second place is Bracknell Rangers who edged a tight 1-0 win away at Berks County. Rangers’ goal scorer was Shaun Wyllie.

Elsewhere Panthers moved into third with a fine 5-3 win at home to Loveman United. Raglan earned the points against FC Fernhill with a walkover win.

Woodley Saints made it four league wins on the spin to top Division One by three points following their 4-1 win at home to Finchampstead Athletic. Athletico Ascot stay second after disposing of a struggling Bracknell Athletic by 7-1, level on points with Sandhurst FFC after their 2-0 win against Athletico Forest.

The other two fixtures finished in wins for Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW and Crowthorne, 8-1 against Winkfield and 4-3 against Woodley United respectively with Ram Senussi scoring on his debut for Crowthorne whilst United’s goal scorers were David Miles, Nathan Bingham and Mathew Leigh.

Bearwood Wanderers moved four points clear at the top of Division Two with a 7-1 win against Bracknell Cavaliers. Bracknell Corinthians occupy second after beating Ashridge Park Royals 3-2 (goals for Corinthians by Whytey, Aaron Turner and Bradley Loyle) level on points with Winnersh Rangers who drew 0-0 with Newbold.

Other results in the Division saw William Twigg beat Braybrooke Athletic 4-1 and Golden Farmer Rangers beat Panthers Reserves 7-2.
