Morale Madrid of the Premier Division were made to work hard for their win in the League Senior Cup 1st round. Having been held by Bracknell Athletic of Division 1 to 3-3 at the end of the game, Morale needed penalties to see them through to the next round (4-2).

There were no real upsets in round 1 of the League Junior Cup as all ties went pretty much to form. There were big wins for AFC Dukes (18-0 v. Bracknell Titans), Newbold (10-0 v. Bracknell Spartans U21’s), Braybrooke Athletic (9-0 v. Bracknell Athletic U21’s) and Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves (Div 4) , who caused a minor shock by upsetting Golden Farmer Randers of Division 2 by 8-4. In other ties featured in our preview FC Harmanswater narrowly defeated an in-form FC Showcase by 3-2 whilst William Twigg overcame Bracknell Royals 3-0.
