Westwood Wanderers head the Thames Valley Premier League table following a win at Woodley United Royals, making up their game in hand over previous leaders Berks County who were without a game.

Newbury also picked up three points and could well be the division’s dark horses with at least four games in hand over the four sides above them in the table.

The West Berkshire sides win ended resurgent Mortimer’s brilliant nine match unbeaten run – eight games of which were wins.

Thames Valley Premier League top scorers:

  • Ross Storrar (Westwood Wanderers) 13
  • Dylan Chaffin (Woodley United Royals) 7
  • Robert Ellis (Windlesham United) 7
  • Sean Hanley (Berks County) 7
  • James Payne (Finchampstead) 7
  • Jake Wheeler (Maidenhead Town) 7
