Mortimer Ladies take points in top of the table clash

Just two games went ahead involving Berkshire sides at the weekend with 3G sufaces coming to the aid of S4K and Slough Town’s fixtures in the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League.

Division 3 South side S4K Ladies switched their tie with Mortimer to Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground but were beaten 2-0 by the Villagers thanks to goals from Louise Delaney and Beth Millican.

The other game to go ahead saw Slough Town face Ascot United Reserves at Arbour Park with the Rebels coming away with a 5-3 win.

Sophie Cheadle (2), Shannon Daly (2) and Alice Heady were all on the scoresheet for the Rebels while the Yellawomen’s Nicole Brown hit a hat trick.
