Crowthorne Inn top the early Premier Division table following their 5-2 win away at Woodley Saints. Berks County are level on points with Inn after shading a tight contest with Bracknell Rangers by 2-1. County led 2-0 in the first 20 minutes but Joe Henry pulled one back for Rangers just before the break. The game ebbed and flowed in the second half with County holding out for the win.

Both Athletico Ascot and Crowthorne made it two wins from two to top Division 1. Ascot beat Sandhurst FFC 3-1 whilst Crowthorne defeated newcomers Bigshot 2-1, Marlon Rush getting the winner for Crowthorne. Bearwood Wanderers came from 1-2 down to beat Loveman United 6-2 to get their season off to a flying start following promotion from Division 2 and occupy 3rd position. Goal-scorers for Loveman were Sam Rogers and Lee Blackman. Elsewhere Finchampstead Athletic Reserves and Panthers played out an 8-goal thriller, Finch winning out by 5-3.

Newcomers Freeman Royals top Division 2 this weekend with a second win of the season for them by 2-1 against Bracknell Cavaliers. Bracknell Athletic got over the disappointment of defeat on the opening day with a very impressive 5-2 win against promoted AFC Dukes. Elsewhere there were wins for Braybrooke Athletic and Woodley United (Matthew Leigh and Nathan Bingham on the scoresheet for them), both opening up their accounts for the season, whilst the game between Silver Birch and Bracknell Corinthians finished all-square at 0-0.

Bracknell Spartans Vets top Division 3 following their 7-1 win away at Ashridge Park. That’s 13 goals in two games now for the Vets. Following closely on their heals with 4 points apiece are FC Showcase, who beat FC Harmanswater 4-2, and Bracknell Cavaliers, beating Newbold 4-3.

Bracknell Athletic Reserves have made an impressive start to the season with two wins out of two, today beating Bracknell Spartans 5-1.
