With neither of the Premier Division’s top two of Crowthorne Inn and Berks County playing today through postponement, Finchampstead Athletic grasped the opportunity to close up on the two with a 2-0 win against Woodley Saints.

Raglan and Bracknell Rangers served up a nine-goal Bracknell & District Sunday League thriller with Raglan shading it 5-4 in a game that was full of drama. Rangers led in the second half 3-1 and, when later leading 4-3 missed from the penalty spot. This seemed to spur Raglan into a late rally leaving Rangers, who play in last seasons delayed Aldershot Cup Final next weekend, still looking for their first league points of this season.

Rangers goal scorers were Alex Badshah, Joe Henry (2) and George Lock. No change at the top then as Crowthorne Inn and Berks County share top spot on seven points, Inn with the better goal-difference, whilst Finch occupy third spot level with Raglan on six points.

Wokingham & Emmbrook moved into third position in Division 1 with a 2-0 win against Panthers, whilst Loveman United moved level on points with Wokingham after a 1-0 win against Finchampstead Athletic Reserves. The days game between the top two of Crowthorne and Bearwood Wanderers fell victim to the wet weather.

Woodley United moved level on points with Freeman Royals at the top of Division 2 with a 3-2 win against Ashridge Park Royals. Winnersh Rangers also moved onto six points, level with Royals and Woodley, with a 2-1 win away at Bracknell Corinthians, Rangers coming from a goal behind scored by Corinthians’ Dillon Warburton to win that one. The game between leaders Freeman Royals and AFC Dukes was postponed. Elsewhere, goals by Jay Carter (2), Ryan Keeley, Jacob Kensley and James Lakeman secured a 5-2 win for Winnersh Town against Bracknell Athletic.

Bracknell Spartans Vets made it three wins from three with a 2-1 win against Bracknell Saint Germain. FC Showcase stay in contention in second position after dispatching Harts of Bracknell by 6-0. Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves and Bracknell Royals stay in third and fourth positions respectively after the two drew 2-2. Two goals from Kieran Hultquist gave Woodley Saints Reserves a share of the points as they drew 2-2 with FC Harmanswater.

Bracknell Athletic Reserves also made it three from three with a 2-1 win against Harts of Bracknell Reserves. Athletics lead at the top is four points from AFC Dukes Reserves in second who fought out a 3-3 draw with Bracknell Spartans.
