Burghfield 3 – 2 Reading YMCA

Burghfield continued their good start to the season with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Reading YMCA. Jack Bowyer, Chris Lynch and Lewis Butcher scored for the home side, with away goals coming from Steve Woodrow and Ryan Adams.

Finchampstead 4 – 0 Mortimer

Finch put four past 10-man Mortimer and continued their great run at the top of the Thames Valley Premier League. They are now four points clear of their nearest rivals, though clubs do have games in hand over them. Joel Day and Nick Payne were among the goals for the home side.

Reading City U23 0 – 3 Westwood Wanderers

Goals from Thomas Bullion, Michael Greenwood and Ross Storrar were enough for Wanderers to come away with all three points in a Reading derby. Westwood Wanderers are sixth and have had a solid start to the season.

Wargrave 1 – 3 Richings Park

Wargrave’s excellent recent run was ended by Richings Park who came away 3-1 victors at the Wargrave Recreation Ground on Saturady. Ricky Caves, Karl Haggen and James Ward goals handed Park the victory, Callum Hunter scored Wargrave’s solitary goal.

Windlesham & Chobham 2 – 1 Maidenhead Town

A bit of a surprise in Surrey as Windlesham & Chobham came away with a very creditable win against Maidenhead Town. Home goals from Ryan Jones and Sam Roberts with Maidenhead Town’s goal coming from Jack Northway.

Woodley United Royals 1 – 2 Wraysbury

Royals are still searching for their first win of the season after another loss on Saturday, this time to Wraysbury. Woodley United were visited by Talksport’s Tony Incenzo.

Yateley United 1 – 1 Marlow United

A depleted Marlow United earned a very creditable point at Yateley United. Lewis Draper scored for the away side, with the home goal coming from Adam Teale. You can read, a quite honest, match report from Marlow United below.
