Wokingham & Emmbrook midfielder Elliott Rushforth has joined team mates Will Day and Sam Whiting in committing to the Satsuma’s

Rushforth had a short spell at Bracknell Town during the 2011/12 season but has spent much of his senior career with the Satsuma’s and was part of the Division 1 East title winning side in 2014.

Manager Clive McNelly has moved quickly to secure Rushforth after losing James Charlton to Binfield. The midfielder played 40 times during the relegation season last time out and scored 10 goals.

McNelly has also retained the services of full-back Jordan Rowland.

Rowland came through the ranks at Binfield before following Ed Carpenter to Bracknell. Injury cut short an in form season in 2014/15 and on his return Rowland found himself kept out of the side by Elliott Garrington.

He joined Wokingham last season and the dead ball specialist managed three goals in 23 games.

Joining Rowland and Rushforth on the retained list are David Payne, Tom Fraser, Kyle Lennon, Ben Broadhurst and Charlie Scope while new four new signings include Matt Booth, Dan Best, George Marsh and Oliver Pritchard.
