Late on Monday evening, the Hellenic League FA Full Time was updated with all registered players being loaded ahead of the new season.

It was a relief to see both Burnham and Highmoor-IBIS who previously only showed less than ten players both showing more then twenty players registered to pick from.

It was rumoured that Jamie West who actually showed on Full Time as an Ascot United player had actually been at Flackwell Heath pre-season and that proved to be the case when his registration was transferred to the Heathens.

Indeed he featured as a second half substitute in Tuesday night’s 3-1 win over Bracknell Town.

Thatcham Town had announced that Yashwa Romeo had joined the first team management set-up as Assistant Manager but his profile has been removed from the Kingfishers website and he has transferred to Highmoor-IBIS . We are unclear if this is just in a playing capacity or as part of the management set-up too.

The Kingfishers have strengthened though with Joel Jacobs joining Thatcham Town. Jacobs was a virtual ever present for Flackwell Heath last year featuring 47 times at left back and he started pre-season at Slough Town but will be a valuable addition to Thatcham’s playing squad.

Finally and by no means least, Binfield have added central defender Tom Hopper to their ranks. Hopper has played for manager Roger Herridge at Wokingham & Emmbrook and also Binfield previously and he went straight into the heart of defence for Tuesday’s 2-1 opening night victory against Henley Town.
