Bracknell Town right back George Lock has joined Binfield from Bracknell Town.

The young Robin has been unused on the bench five times by Bracknell this season after being voted supporters player of the season in 2015/16 and appearing 43 times.

We understand Lock has joined Binfield on what is technically a loan deal to further his development and get games – although no official loan system exists within the Hellenic League.

Despite being a Larges Lane crowd favourite, The former youth team captain was not guaranteed first team football and we believe the move has happened with the blessing of Robins boss Mark Tallentire.

So far this season Dave Hancock has been preferred at right back, Lock is expected to be in the Binfield squad that travels to Burnham on Bank Holiday Monday.

Bracknell have been busy signing players this week including TJ Bohane from Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Alex Rodrigues from Thatcham Town.
