Finchampstead FC sign former Binfield midfielder Chris Dean

Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East side Finchampstead have signed former Binfield midfielder Chris Dean according to the clubs twitter account.

The Memorial Ground side have started the season slowly following a little bit of ‘expectation’ from a site not a million miles away from here but the ex-Mole is an experienced operator and made 32 appearances in the Hellenic Premier last season.

Finch host a local derby on Saturday afternoon when Hellenic League new boys Sandhurst Town visit and Dean has been registered in time to feature.

Finch are 12th of 14 in Division 1 East and a win could see the blue and whites leapfrog all the way to mid-table.

Dean played for Binfield youth as well as Woking, Henley Town, Windsor FC and if memory serves a short spell at Bracknell Town before returning to Stubbs Lane and making a mark on the first team.

Non League blogger ‘The Mowdog‘ caught Dean’s first (and only we think) goal in Binfield colours against Tuffley back in February.
