Binfield manager Roger Herridge has strengthened his squad with the signing of Highmoor-IBIS captain Harrison Bayley.

The 26 year old is adept in both defence and attack and had 26 appearances for IBIS this term, more than any other player.

Herridge told us “Harrison is a great signing for us, for me up there with the best midfielders in the league.

“He’s going to be a real bonus for us and the chance to sign him came out of the blue.

“When players of this quality become available I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t throw our hat into the ring.”

Bayley made 26 appearances for struggling Highmoor this season and 35 last time out. He joins the Moles other recent midfield signing Liam Whyte in the battle for a jersey in the middle of the park.
