Bracknell Town have confirmed they have signed Binfield striker Liam Ferdinand as they look to strengthen their squad for another shot at promotion from the Hellenic Premier Division.
Ferdinand – the scorer of 25 league goals for the Moles last season, joins the Robins who finished runners up last season and have seen top scorer TJ Bohane depart for step four side Swindon Supermarine.
In terms of league goals ‘Ferdi’ was seventh in the Premier Division list, five behind Bohane and scored three more league goals than he did for the Moles in 2015/16.
Ferdinand joined Binfield in 2015 from Flackwell Heath and hit 22 in his first season under manager Roger Herridge and was undoubtedly the key man going forward for the Moles as they finished 8th last season as well as reaching both the Berks & Bucks County Cup and Reading Senior Cup Finals.

We understand Ferdinand has moved with the blessing of Binfield boss Roger Herridge and turned down offers from step four and five clubs to join Mark Tallentire at Bracknell.
For Bracknell, it is the first move to bring players in by Tallentire and is an impressive one with the prospect of two promotion places available in the Premier Division next season.
