Hot on the heals of Woodley United’s top scorers and goalkeeper confirming their commitment to the 2017/18 campaign, the Kestrels have confirmed ‘stalwart’ centre back Idris Kamara and experienced midfielder Danny Horscroft will both return.
United are about to make their debut at step five and have so far retained the spine of their side in Charlie Oakley and Josh Drew as well now as Kamara and Horscorft.
The latter pair were influential as Michael Herbert’s side came from behind to lift the Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Trophy in April and will undoubtedly be key players as Woodley look to establish themselves at a higher level.
Kamara played all but one of Woodley’s 26 Division 1 East games last season while Horscroft featured 24 times after an early season switch from Binfield.

Woodley have also confirmed that winger Greg Beckett will make the step up with the Kestrels.
