Luke Turner and Danny Greenwood the latest Woodley United signatures

Full backs Luke Turner and Danny Greenwood are the latest players to commit to Woodley United’s debut season in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

The pair played a combined 40 league games for the Kestrels last season and join a growing core of players from the side that won promotion from Division 1 East in committing for another season.

Turner was injured in the Kestrels final game of the season – the Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Trophy – with a last ditch challenge that prevented Marlow United taking a 2-0 lead.

In addition, United have announced that Sukhi Kang has joined Michael Herbert’s coaching staff.

United have retained the services of forwards Charlie Oakley and Josh Drew as well as goalkeeper Alex Reed, midfielder Danny Horscroft and defender Idris Kamara while making several signings to increase a squad that will play 12 more league matches than the season before.
