Jake Nicholls and Dave Morgan back for Woodley United

Jake Nicholls and Dave Morgan have both been confirmed as returning for Woodley United’s debut season in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

Nicholls – the clubs co-captain – made 34 appearances for Michael Herbert’s side last season as they won promotion to the Premier while Morgan made 25 appearances.

Kestrels boss Michael Herbert spoke on twitter about both players saying of Nicholls: “Player of the year last season says it all. Sets the standard in everything he does, looking forward to seeing him compete in this league.”

Meanwhile the Woodley manager said of Morgan: “Up there as one of our most technically gifted players. Played a big part in our success last season, can’t wait to have him back from injury.”

The pair join much of the core of the promotion winning squad in returning with Luke Turner and Danny Greenwood being the latest two players to re-sign.
