It’s been another quiet week on the transfer front with departures seemingly causing the biggest news. Binfield goalkeeper Liam Vaughan has signed up to play for Hellenic League Division One East side Wallingford Town who are currently mid-table having won 2, drew 2 and lost 2 so far this season.
Another player leaving Binfield and the Hellenic Premier Division is Grant Kemp who has signed for Thames Valley Premier League club Newbury FC.
The west-Berkshire club currently lie 11th out of 14th in the division and will be looking to climb the table. Other local clubs that have been busy shuffling their squad around include Woodley United who have signed up Sam Guze and Spencer Meredith while Luke Blakebrough has left the club.
While it may not have been the busiest week locally for player signings Burnham FC have brought in five players as they look to climb off the bottom of the Hellenic Premier Division table. The club have only won 3 points so far this season and are yet to win in the league. On Saturday they face a daunting trip west on the M4 to The Elms where they face current table-toppers Highworth Town in the FA Vase.
