Bracknell Town’s 2016/17 top scorer TJ Bohane could be set to make a sensational return to Larges Lane just months after leaving for Evo Stik Southern League side Swindon Supermarine if the FA’s Full Time website is to be believed.

Bohane’s name has appeared as registered with the Robins on the FA’s Hellenic League Full Time website where all player registrations are displayed and we monitor like the utter nerds we are.

FiB has reached out to Bracknell Town and we are waiting to find out if the move was completed in time for TJ to play on Saturday at home to Oxford City Nomads.

Bohane scored 48 goals in all competitions for Bracknell last season alongside striker partner Adam Cornell who contributed 45 and heads back to rejoin his partner in crime.

The Wiltshire based forward has – according the the Marine website, appeared four times in seven games for the club this season who sit third in the table behind Bristol Manor farm and Taunton Town.

Bohane scored in all three of the Robins cup final victories last season – the clubs first silverware for over two decades and was an integral part of Bracknell’s promotion chase that ultimately fell short when they lost on the final day at home to Highworth Town.

In June, FiB spoke exclusively with the striker about why he decided to make the move to Supermarine. He said: “It was as the lads, Tally [manager Mark Tallentire] and Kayne [chairman Kayne Steinborne-Busse] have been top class to me from the day I signed but when I look at the travelling and the chance to play a higher level it’s a no brainier.”

This time around of course, Bohane will have a new manager in Jeff Lamb who confirmed his backroom staff today.

Also rejoining the Robins is defender Justin Clayton who signed last season but didn’t feature.
