Bracknell Town have made two signings to bolster the defensive options at Larges Lane and both players have Evo Stik Southern League experience.
Left-back Ryan Parsons has joined from Marlow after manager and former Robin Mark Bartley waived the seven day approach while centre back Adam Kirby has joined from Chalfont St Peter.
Marlow confirmed the Parsons move on their website with Bartley saying: “Whilst its always disappointing to lose a player form the squad, I understand the factors that influenced his decision to leave. Ryan has been superb, both on and off the pitch, since returning to the club in the summer and I wish him all the best for the future at Bracknell.”
Parsons played 10 times for the Buckinghamshire side this season in the Southern League Division 1 East and had previously been a big part of the Slough Town side that won promotion to the Southern League Premier Division in 2015.
Kirby had been captain at Windsor before moving to Marlow’s division rivals Chalfont and played in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hartley Wintney.
Windsor boss Mick Woodham was full of praise for Kirby when he made the step up to Chalfont in December 2015, telling the Windsor Observer: “When the opportunity comes a players way to step up no-one is going to stand in their way. The challenge now for Adam is to earn himself a place in the Chalfont starting line-up and he has all the tools to do that.
“Left-sided centre backs don’t come around very often and that’s why they were all after Adam.”
Both players have been registered on the clubs FA full time page.
