Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Reading City have announced their first three signings of the summer.

Managers Andy Findlay and Rob Creech have confirmed that Jack Powell, Olly Taylor and Matt Hancock have all signed up for the Scours Lane side.

Striker Taylor had been out of football for a short while but was on the books at Evo Stik Southern Premier side Dorchester Town last season while Powell has previously played for Didcot Town and Oxford United.

Defender Hancock joins from Evo Stik Southern League South Premier Division side Met Police. City had previously added Alfie Grant from Wantage Town.

Improvements

Speaking exclusively to Football in Bracknell recently, Findlay said on the improvements to the ground: “There were obvious problems last season with lighting, we have been assured this will be fixed, we are working closely with C&D Facilities & Grounds Maintenance, who took over looking after the pitch and have done a brilliant job, the top goalmouth is having a new soak away. We hope to also see renovation work on the car park.”
