Two join Binfield and one Bracknell Town departure

Binfield have added two centre backs to their squad ahead of the Hellenic League Premier Division season while Bracknell Town have seen one depart over the weekend.

Binfield welcome back Lewis Leonetti for another season at Hill Farm Lane, the young defender played 10 times for the Moles last season and the same amount the season before having also had spells with Bracknell Town’s Allied Counties side and Thatcham Town.

The club have also added Liam Gavin to the squad. Binfield tweeted: “Two more confirmed signings after yesterday’s game were Lewis Leonetti and Liam Gavin, two centre halves who have trained and performed well during pre season.

In the Bostik League, Bracknell Town have seen former Flackwell Heath centre back James Tripp leave the club and sign for Hellenic League Division 1 East side Burnham – managed by Tripp’s former Heath team mate Paul Shone.

Burnham have marked themselves down as favourites for the step 6 title with the addition of Thatcham’s FA Vase winning midfielder Ashleigh James.
