Sean Moore makes permanent Bracknell Town move

Binfield manager Roger Herridge has revealed striker Sean Moore is now a Bracknell Town player.

Moore had been dual registered with the Robins to get games after the Moles were left without a scheduled fixture for most of March.

Herridge told Football in Bracknell: “Sean Moore has decided to remain at Bracknell after I let him help them out at Bracknell’s request the last two weeks .

“Not overly happy about the scenario but was always a risk that this could happen. A major blow to us which has taken the wind out of my sails this week in all honesty but we move on and I wish him good luck.”

He added: “Sean is a real character very very good player. We now concentrate on the players who want to be with us, in terms of attacking options, we have plenty with Ian Davies and Jemel Johnson in good form plus Eddie Lee returning to fitness after injury.

He added: “Not my way to hold back anyone who wants to step up a level.”

Moore played 15 times for Binfield in the 2018/19 season scoring 10 goals in all competitions.

At the start of the month, Herridge spoke to the Wokingham Paper about the forward and his impressive start to the season.

He said: “Nothing surprises me with Sean.

“In my opinion he’s got the potential to be one of the best players in the league. On his day he’s unplayable.

“He can always be fitter and he’s certainly a lot fitter than he was.

“Frustrating at times because he’s always trying to do the spectacular but when the spectacular comes off, it looks really, really good. But when it doesn’t come off it can be a bit frustrating.”
