This Sunday sees the first of this seasons Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Cup semi-finals with FC Fernhill taking on Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW in the Advantage Printroom Senior Cup.

Fernhill, flying high at the top of the Premier Division, and beaten only once this season (back in November in the County Intermediate Cup) will be favourites.

Wokingham though have challenged all season at the top of Division 1 and, but for a run of disappointing results post-Christmas, got their season back on track with a big win last Sunday. Could there be an upset on the cards?

Sunday also sees the start of this seasons Subsidiary Cup as holders Hope & Anchor take on FC Harmanswater in the first of eight first round ties.

Pick of the day’s Premier Division fixtures sees WAB (5th) take on Raglan (4th). WAB have had an impressive run of form in their first season at this level, winning 4 and drawing once in their last 5 games and will look to finish their campaign strongly with a win that will put hem into the top 3.

Raglan will have other ideas and with 4 games still to play (including Sundays fixture) still have an outside chance of lifting the title. Elsewhere Golden Farmer Rangers take on Crowthorne Inn whilst FC Meta play Morale Madrid.

Highlight of this weekends Division 1 fixtures sees Loveman United (3rd) take on Berks County (4th). Both teams go into the fixture bang on form and both will look for the win that will strengthen their hopes of winning the title.

Finchampstead Athletic in 2nd will look for the win against a struggling Panthers Reserves in their last league fixture that will take them back to the top of the Division. With eight games still to play Bracknell Athletic, in 7th, could still put themselves into the mix at the top, play Athletico Ascot (6th).

Third placed Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves will have their sights set on 2nd place in Division 2 with an away fixture against 3M. Elsewhere Moore Close Manor, who currently occupy 2nd position, host Silver Birch Dynamoes. Champions Sandhurst FFC play their final league fixture in a week’s time.

Its top versus 2nd in Division 3 as current leaders Bracknell Cavaliers host Braybrooke Athletic in the days premium fixture. Third placed Bearwood Wanderers take on Winnersh Town. Could the lead at the top of the Division change hands again following this weekend’s fixtures?

The result of the two fixtures in Division 4 could have a huge impact upon the race for the title this weekend. Leaders Crownwood Dukes will strengthen their lead (currently 4 points) with a win against Bracknell Athletic Reserves who, themselves with 4 games still to play, will look for the win that will close the gap on the leaders.

In the other game Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves, with 3 to play, take on bottom placed and pointless Bracknell Titans, knowing that a win could move them into the top 3.
