Slough Town’s season may have only just finished but managers Neil Baker and Jon Underwood are already busy planning for the 2019/20 Vanarama National League South campaign.

The Rebels season ended with a Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup win on Bank Holiday Monday, beating Reading 3-1 at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground.

The club have been the beneficiaries of National League side Maidenhead United’s decision to go full time with the signing of attacking midfielder Max Worsfold.

According to www.sloughtownfc.net, Worsfold is: “A hard-working tenacious player, who we feel will come in and help strengthen the squad. Whilst he probably did not have the season he was hoping for at the Magpies last season due to a couple of injuries, we believe that he will come in and hit the ground running.”

Going the other way, the Rebels have confirmed that both Louie Soares and Nathan Smart have left the club.

Soares made 17 starts for the Rebels while Smart was dual registered with Hartley Wintney in the Evo Stik Southern League where he was made captain.
