Evo Stik Southern League Premier Division South side Hendon have confirmed the singing of former Bracknell Town goalkeeper Chris Grace.

The stopper joined the Greens toward the end of last season on dual registration having returned from loan at Binfield to cover Mark Scott’s injury.

That move meant Grace played at steps 5, 4 and 3 last season and it’s the latter he’ll play at again in 2019/20 after signing for the north west London side.

A post on the Dons website said: “Grace signed at short notice just before the crucial 2-0 win at Poole Town in March to cover the suspension of Andrew McCorkell and went on to make 6 appearances, keeping three clean sheets which proved crucial in our eventual survival.

“Chris joins on a permanent basis from Bracknell Town from whom he had originally joined us on a dual-registration basis. We welcome Chris back to the club and wish him a successful stay at SJP.”

Grace was part of the Bracknell side that won promotion from the Hellenic League in 2018 and lifted the League Cup.

He came through the Robins youth ranks and had represented Reading Town and a long spell with Ascot United where he reached two FA Vase quarter finals.
