Former Bracknell Town winger and all round attacking midfielder Joe Grant is trialling with Motorama National League South side Slough Town.

Grant, who joined Bracknell from Ascot United in the summer of 2016 formed a deadly wing partnership with Seb Bowerman as the Robins finished runners up three times in a row in the Hellenic League and then the Isthmian League.

The attacker is due to play as a triallist for Slough on Tuesday night at Arbour Park when National League Eastleigh are the visitors.

Grant’s inclusion in the squad is highlighted on the Rebels website here where he will be joined by former Bracknell team mate Dan Roberts: “Joe, who previously played for us a few years ago when he was very young, has been developing very well and comes in off the back of an excellent season with Bracknell Town. He can play in a wide or forward position.”

Grant announced at the start of June that he would not be returning to Larges Lane and said ‘time for a new challenge’.

Another former Robin to find a new club recently was goalkeeper Chris Grace who signed for Southern League Hendon.
