Bracknell Town loanee heads to Chalfont St Peter

Former Bracknell Town attacker Owen James has joined BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One rivals Chalfont St Peter.

James was on loan at Larges Lane from EFL Football League side Oxford United and had impressed supporters over five appearances for the Robins.

Now the Saints have confirmed a six week loan of James with a post on social media that said: “Owen joins us on a six week loan deal from Oxford United, he has recently finished a loan deal with Bracknell Town where he scored twice against the Saints in our Velocity Trophy clash.”

Manager Finlay Johnson added: “Owen will be a tremendous addition to the squad, I hope he enjoys his time with us.”

James scored three times for the Robins in total with the third goal coming in the 3-0 win at Harlow Town.

The Saints have also added centre back Carl Pearce on dual registration from Chesham United.
