Bracknell Town announce first signings of the Bobby Wilkinson era

It’s been a busy week at Bracknell Town FC with a new management team in place and now a number of new signings joining the ranks at Larges Lane.

The BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side have announced a number of new signings including Nebay Haile (pictured top) who made his debut in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hanwell Town.

Haile joins from the Robins division rivals Tooting & Mitcham United having made 13 appearances for the club this season scoring four times. He has also played for Northwood, Staines Town and Ashford Town (Middlesex).

On Monday evening the Robins announced on twitter the arrival of forward Joseph Chidyausiku from National South club Chelmsford City.

The attacker has also played for National League North club Bradford Park Avenue, Bedfont Sports, Romford and Havant & Waterlooville.

Then, on Tuesday afternoon the arrival of Queens Park Rangers youth team midfielder Mickel Platt was announced.

In addition to playing for QPR Platt has enjoyed a spell at Hartley Wintney where he was on a work experience agreement according to the QPR website.

Finally, on Wednesday morning, Bracknell announced the signing of former Watford under 23 defender Joy Mukena.

The 6 foot 3 defender has played for both Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion in the under 18 Premier League and had been training with the Watford first team squad during the 2018/19 season according to an interview on the Hornets website.

Bracknell Town’s next games are a Velocity Cup tie at home to Hornchurch on Wednesday 18th December and a trip to Marlow on Saturday 21st December.
