Bracknell Town have seen two players depart Larges Lane, manager Bobby Wilkinson has confirmed.
The BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side are on a six match unbeaten run with the latest points coming at home to Hertford Town on Saturday. However, the club have seen defender Robb Sheridan and midfielder Dan Brown head through the exit door.
Sheridan, who played 22 times for the Robins and scored twice, was the first signing made by former boss Sam Lock in the summer having joined from Dorking Wanderers, where as well as a spell with Kingstonian he won three promotions in four seasons.
Sheridan tweeted: “Many thanks to all the players, coaches, managers, staff and the Chairman at Bracknell Town for having me, great club with great people all involved. All the best!”
Midfielder Brown played 15 times for Bracknell in midfield and also joined Bracknell in the summer after two seasons with Southern League Beaconsfield Town.
The former Maidenhead United man tweeted: “Would just like to thank all those Bracknell Town for there time, energy and support… Met some great people/players… Shout out to Ricky Simons and young Jude for all there efforts off the pitch! Ladies and Gents it’s been a pleasure!”
Meanwhile on the pitch, Bracknell have a big Tuesday night test at Vanarama National League South Hungerford Town in the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup.
The tie at Bulpit Lane will see Wilkinson head back to his former club, now managed by his former player Ian Herring. Kick off 7.45pm with a possible tie against Wycombe Wanderers, Reading FC or MK Dons awaiting in the Quarter Finals.
